UPDATE: Man rushed to hospital after early morning 'disturbance'
AN area outside a Christmas market has been taped off by police following an incident in the city centre.
Pictures taken at around 9.45am today (November 16) show large areas have been taped off on Argyle Street and St Enoch Square outside the Bank of Scotland.
There is also an area closed off by police tape outside a food stand at the Christmas market with two police vans at the scene.
Officers were pictured inside the cordon.
The nature of the incident is not currently known.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
