UPDATE: A man has been arrested after a 'police pursuit'.
A Glasgow road has been closed due to an ongoing 'police incident'.
Newton Street in the city centre has been sealed off where it meets the junction with Bath Street.
Glasgow City Council's roads department issued a bulletin at 9.30am informing that the area was shut.
They cited this reason as due to a 'police incident'.
An update was issued at 10.10am to say the road had reopened.
