More than 700 student athletes will compete in the Glasgow Taxis Cup.
The inter-varsity competition, in its 20th year, will see athletes from Glasgow Caledonian, Strathclyde, and Glasgow universities compete across 21 events on March 26 next year.
The competition is the biggest one-day student inter-varsity event in Scotland, with sports such as athletics, basketball, rugby, cross-country, fencing, snowsports, and powerlifting.
Winners of the 16 sports and the overall winning university will be announced at Scotstoun Sports Campus. The event is sponsored by Glasgow Taxi Ltd.
Dougie McPherson, Glasgow Taxis chairman, said: "Once again Glasgow Taxis are proud to support our city’s universities in this year’s event.
"Sport plays such an important part in people’s lives on many levels, and the positivity surrounding the Glasgow Taxis Cup is palpable."
Last year’s winner, Strathclyde, will try to defend their title.
