Qadri, of Edinburgh, was already seated and it was noted by the passengers that he had a blade sticking out of his waistband.

Prosecutor Lauren Sangray, said: "The security team boarded the bus and took the knife from Qadri.

"He was then removed from the bus."

Police later attended and Qadri told officers: "If someone is going to do me, I need to be prepared."

As he was being handcuffed, a strong smell of cannabis was noted which resulted in a body search.

Officers recovered 12 zip lock bags containing 62 blue tablets known as 2c-b or Nexus.

Also discovered was 2.3 grams of cannabis as well as £795 in mixed notes.

The hearing was told that the value of the tablets was £220 if sold in five tablet quantities.

Qadri later asked officers when he would get his cash back and was told there would be further inquiries.

He then stated: "You know where I got the money."

Qadri pled guilty to possession of a knife without a reasonable excuse or lawful authority.

He also admitted being concerned in the supply of 2c-b tablets and possession of cannabis.

Pat Campbell, defending, told the court that the offences occurred when there was a "hiatus" in the relationship between Qadri and his parents.
