AN American coffeehouse chain has submitted plans to Glasgow City Council open up in the city centre.
Blank Street Coffee, which was founded in Brooklyn in 2020, has put forward proposals to open up their first Glasgow location at 42 Gordon Street next to Spuntini.
The chain, which uses "top of the range speciality graded coffees from around the world", has gone viral online for their drink such as their blueberry matcha.

The plans state that the façade of the category-B listed building would be painted a matt green colour with green awning installed as well as non-illuminated signage.
The unit was previously occupied by Black & Lizars opticians.
There would be inside seat on the ground floor of the building with additional seating outside.

The basement would have a staff room and storage areas.
A decision is expected to be made on the plans by Friday, January 10.
