Stagecoach West Scotland's depot in Cumbernauld is serving as a drop-off point for donations and gifts for the Glasgow Times Bank on Us campaign.

This forms part of the bus operator's wider effort to spread Christmas cheer across the West Coast of Scotland, a tradition they have maintained for the past three years.

This year, in a departure from the trademark red, Santa is going green, aligning with Stagecoach's sustainability values.

He will be making his rounds in a new Enviro100EV bus, the world's first electric midi bus.

Fiona Doherty, managing director of Stagecoach West Scotland, said: "We are thrilled to be running our fantastic Santa’s Grotto again this year.

"This initiative brings joy to many families across our service areas during the Christmas season, while also supporting the Night Before Christmas Campaign.

"This year, Santa will be going green on our new Enviro100EV bus, spreading festive cheer with a purpose: making our planet a cleaner, greener place."

The Stagecoach West Scotland team will also be speaking with people over 60 and those just turning 60 at these events, providing them with winter warmer packs and information about applying for their free bus pass.
