A former politician is set to perform her latest show at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival at an iconic city venue.
Mhairi Black's show, Politics Isn’t For Me, provides an insight into the realities of life in Westminster.
The show at Òran Mór on March 13 and 14, 2025, is part of her Scottish tour following a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Tickets for the show go on sale November 29 at 10am at www.gildedballoon.co.uk.
The former politician uses her dark humour to reflect on her experiences in parliament, having been elected to the House of Commons at just 20 years old.
She said: "Performing this show at the Edinburgh Fringe proved to be a lot of fun, so I’m really excited to get the chance to share a bit of that fun around Scotland.
"Particularly for people who weren’t able to travel or get a ticket to the Fringe."
In her show, the ex-politician tackles subjects ranging from anxiety to the archaic rules of Westminster, all with her trademark unfiltered honesty and west coast humour.
She addresses the misconceptions about politics and reflects on her nearly 10 years in public life.
The show received rave reviews during the 2024 Fringe, with audiences enjoying her unique perspective on life in Westminster.
She also addresses some of the scandals and headlines that often accompany a career in politics.
