A first aid charity has taught more than 500 Scots CPR.
St Andrew's First Aid, Scotland's only dedicated first aid charity, trained 534 people in CPR as part of World Restart a Heart 2024 in October.
The charity aimed to engage with communities across Scotland, raising awareness about cardiac arrest and equipping individuals with vital lifesaving skills.
Of the 534 trained, nearly 300 were from Glasgow.

Stuart Callison, CEO of St Andrew’s First Aid, said: “Every year in Scotland, around 3,000 people suffer an Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest, with survival often depending on the intervention of immediate CPR.
"Thanks to the incredible work of our volunteers, we now have a further 534 individuals equipped with the knowledge and skills to step in and make a real difference in emergency situations.
“The people of Glasgow were keen to get involved by stepping forward and learning these important lifesaving skills.
"Congratulations to everyone who participated and helped make Restart a Heart 2024 such a success.”
