A local MSP has recognised the 1st Neilston Boys Brigade Company for its 70 years of service.
MSP Paul O'Kane published a Scottish Parliament motion to highlight the company's history and its impact on the young people of Neilston.
Mr O'Kane recently attended an evening meeting, where he presented them with a framed copy of the motion.
The MSP for West Scotland region said: “The (1st Neilston Boys Brigade) Company is one of great local recreational institutions that generations of young people have enjoyed and learned from.
“It was a pleasure to deliver the motion to them and let them know that the Scottish Parliament officially recognises the history and longevity of the company and the impact it has had on Neilston."
Fiona Spooner, development and engagement worker for Boys' Brigade, said: "We were delighted to receive our copy of my parliamentary motion in recognition of all the work being done within our community.
"The Company has been supported by a large number of volunteers over the last 70 years, this motion recognises their commitment and dedication to the young people of our amazing community.
"It also celebrates all of the young people who have been part of Boys' Brigade in Neilston over the years and gives thanks for each of them."
