JAMES McAvoy has been pictured in Glasgow city centre as filming continues for his directorial debut.
The Drumchapel-born actor has been shooting scenes around the city for California Schemin' which charts the true story of how two rappers from Dundee pretended to be American and duped the record industry.
The rap duo, Silibil N' Brains (real names Gavin Bain and Billy Boyd), embarked on a remarkable journey that saw them rap alongside Eminem, party backstage with Madonna and be tipped as among the next generation of rising stars.

McAvoy was pictured on Renfield Lane today (December 3) as filming continued and was seen smoking a cigarette.
He has previously been spotted at locations including Queen Street Station, Glasgow Green and The Barras Market over the past few weeks.
A free noughties-themed gig also took place at the Barrowlands Ballroom on November 21 as part of filming.
