Glasgow Fort has urged those planning on visiting the centre for the retailer's opening to 'plan ahead and allow plenty of time' for travelling.

Bosses are expecting the centre to be 'busier than usual' during Primark's opening week which will kick off the festive season.

“Primark as a brand is fantastic, it creates so much excitement and so we are happy to join the Glasgow Fort.

“There are great retailers here and we have already had good conversations with our neighbours who said they are super excited to have us here.

“We know from customer feedback that they are super excited for the opening tomorrow.

“Our pyjamas section, mens, and ladies will be a firm favourite with customers. Our Rita Ora section within the ladies wear section will also always be a big hit for the party season.”
