Bargain hunters are preparing to storm Glasgow Fort tomorrow for the grand opening of Primark, but is it worth the trip?
The store is massive with two levels and covers 33,500-square-foot as it offers womenswear, mens clothing, kids clothing, beauty, and homeware departments.
Primark is known for affordable clothes and good deals for simple basics, but in recent years it has stepped up to challenge the trendiest high street stores for hot fashion finds.
That also means their prices have stepped up too with punters forking out up to £60 for a coat or £36 for a blazer, but it is clear there is a real effort to make these pieces last.

These items, which can be found in the new shop, are not meant to be worn once and fall apart - they instead offer wardrobe staples and the best quality Primark has produced in its 50 year history.
Meanwhile shoppers can also still rely on the cheaper items and essentials like t-shirts, underwear, and jeans which the brand built its reputation on.
They also have gender neutral changing rooms as well as specified sex areas, to make sure all customers feel comfortable.
Stand out items for me at the new shop included faux fur jackets, colourful luggage sets, and pyjama sets - all of which I could see lasting in my wardrobe for a while.
They also have their own vitamin primer for £4.50, which in my opinion can rival Bobbi Brown's primer which costs around £60.
With a climate crisis raging across the world, it is fair to ask if Glasgow really needs another fast fashion shop - which will be Primark's 21st branch in Scotland.
My opinion is yes, the shop created 200 jobs in the area and affordable clothes are needed more than ever - especially in places like Easterhouse as residents struggle to fight the cost-of-living crisis.
We are constantly reminded to make sustainable choices and purchases, but if you are on the breadline or tightening your purse strings this can be very difficult.
The key is using places like this new Primark store thoughtfully, buying items not just because they are a good deal but because they will last you in the long run.
It can offer a break to parents trying to cover Christmas, school uniforms, work gear, or even a treat for themselves.
The new shop at the Glasgow Fort is also making clear steps to make environmentally healthy choices like their donation station that urges shoppers to recycle clothes and materials.
While there is still a very long way to go to make fast fashion more sustainable, these steps must be applauded and encouraged so we keep making progress.
The Glasgow Fort turned 20 this year and it feels like shoppers have been asking for a Primark to appear since day one.
Now tomorrow they will finally be welcomed to the country’s latest branch, which I would say is definitely worth a visit.
