AN English couple have decided to raffle off their £3 million house via an online contest.
Avon Place, a stylish and contemporary six-bedroom mega home, set in one acre of private grounds, is being offered to one lucky winner - for just £25 a ticket.
Offering over 7,000 sq ft of light and airy open-plan living, with spectacular views over the River Avon and Avon Valley, the idyllic house is less than 80 miles from London - around an hour by train from the UK capital.
The house boasts six double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, as well as seven reception rooms that include a games/snooker room, cinema room with 65” screen and multiple sitting rooms, plus a hi-tech modern kitchen featuring Gaggenau appliances.
Owner Mark Beresford said: “Like a lot of other couples in our age group, we know we’ll soon be rattling around in our home, as two of our children are preparing to work in London.”
“We engaged two sets of lawyers; one to oversee the general terms and conditions of the competition and to ensure it complies with consumer and trading laws.
“Then we had to get a specialist London lawyers - they have engaged a household name firm - to ensure we complied with Gambling Commission rules.
Only 250,000 tickets are being sold until December 31 when the competition closes.
