A Glasgow post office is reopening as a convenience store four months after it closed.
Thorncroft Post Office will open under new management at the same previous location of 418 Carmunnock Road, Glasgow, G44 5EH.
The branch had been closed since February after the postmaster resigned, but it is due to re-open on Thursday, June 22 at 1pm as a One-O-One Convenience store.
It will be open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
This will provide 46.6 hours of Post Office service a week.
Scott Hamilton, Post Office's network provision lead, said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring Post Office services to Thorncroft as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.”
