The 52-year-old footie ace bumped into the social media user, who goes by the name angelamcd5 on the app, while she was carrying home her shopping.
Angela revealed her daughter had gone to school with the manager's son and, as he saw her struggling, he asked if she was "alright".
After Angela revealed she was suffering from pain in her legs, Neil quickly offered to help and carried her bags as she described the pair "chatting all the way down from Great Western Road".

In the video, she said: "Guys, no way, I live near Neil Lennon, right ... he just helped me with my messages. Neil Lennon!
"I used to see him in that park all the time with his wee boy, he's the same age as my lassie and they went to school together.
"Just walking and he went 'are you alright there?' I went 'aye, just a bit of pain in my leg'. He said 'can I help you?' and I went 'Neil Lennon'."
In her Tik Tok caption, Angela revealed she sees him "all the time" but had never approached the Irishman.
