Ryanair customers have reported issues with the airline’s check-in service as they look to secure their seats for future flights.
Check-in has recently opened for flights as far in the future as Saturday.
However, when customers attempted to check-in online they were met with a message that read: “Check-in Disabled: Sorry, the check-in is experiencing a service outage.”
Hundreds of customers took to Twitter to report issues.
One said: “App won’t let anyone check in”.
Another said: “Any idea how much longer your website is going to be down?”

While a third said: “Your website has been down hours. I am currently sat at work not being able to focus. Please get this sorted.”
Issuing an update on the outage, a Ryanair spokesman said: “Ryanair.com is currently undergoing essential maintenance, passengers wishing to check-in this morning can do so on the Ryanair App.”
DownDetector shows hundreds of customers reporting issues with Ryaniar, with 52% having problems with the website, 24% the app, and 24% the check-in services.
Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day.
