ITV's latest comedy series in G'Wed is set to be broadcast on TV after a launch on ITVX earlier in the year.
It was filmed across Wirral, Liverpool and Sefton over the summer of last year and features an "exciting cast of young talent alongside established actors".
The series delves into the working-class culture of ‘surviving with a sense of humour’ with the distinctive voice of Liverpool and the lived experience of kids from the city, tackling issues such as grief, sex, diversity and class differences.
A synopsis on the Radio Times says: "Recently orphaned middle-class teenager Christopher goes to live with his grandmother on a Liverpool council estate and forms an unlikely alliance with working-class Reece.
What a joy #Gwed is.

Ridiculous, fast, original and so confident in itself for a first series. And a whole new generation of talented actors. pic.twitter.com/QT8PSCdCBf
"About to be expelled, Reece convinces his school's headmaster to give him one last chance and let him mentor Christopher."
