An "emotional" Raye has described how her record number of nominations at the BRIT Awards feels like a "miracle".
Talking with the press on the red carpet, she said that this year has been a strong one for female artists, adding: "Girl power all the way."
Discussing her year-long journey which saw her leave her record label, she said: "It feels like, I can only describe it as a miracle… it's emotional."
She said that a year ago she felt "heartbroken" before receiving acclaim from the music industry for her My 21st Century Blues album.
