Coronation Street legend Tracy Barlow (played by Kate Ford) will be leaving the cobbles after 47 years on the show.
Fans of the popular soap opera will recall how Tracy previously learned that her lover Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) was moving to Spain for a new job as a football coach.
This comes after her estranged husband Steve McDonald found out that Tracy was having a secret affair with Tommy after meeting him in a flower shop.

In upcoming ITV Coronation Street scenes, Tracy Barlow will leave the cobbles to join her love interest in Spain.
Steve will read a letter from Tommy inviting Tracy to join him abroad before choosing to hide it.
Later, Steve returns home to find Tracy in the house but before he can take Tommy's letter out of his pocket, Tracy tells him that she would like for them to get back together.
When the pair go out for some celebratory drinks, Steve wastes no time in burning the letter in a bid to save their marriage.
However, later in the week, it appears that Tracy learns of Tommy's letter as she packs the last of her things before moving.
Ahead of the move, she tells Ken, Amy and Daniel how much she will miss them before raising a toast.
Tracy Barlow first made her appearance on the show all the way back in 1977 with Kate Ford portraying the iconic character since 2002.
Prior to this, the character was played by Christabel Finch from 1977 to 1983, Holly Chamarette from 1985 to 1988 and Dawn Acton from 1988 to 1999.
