Casualty star Dayo Kooleosho has said his "dream has become reality" after landing an "amazing" role on the rival BBC soap opera EastEnders.
He is set to become embroiled in an intense drama involving George Knight, the landlord of the beloved Old Vic pub in Albert Square.
Autumn is set to be a busy time for George as he comes into contact with his long-lost siblings Kobina and Kojo Asare.
The two will hope to establish ties with George after being taken to the pub by Angela, a friend of their mother.
The meeting between the trio becomes complicated after revelations about his father Henry's death come to light.
Casualty star Dayo Kooleosho delighted to land role on EastEnders
Discussing the new additions to the popular BBC programme, EastEnders Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw said: "We're delighted to welcome Dayo and Jonathan to EastEnders to play Kojo and Kobina as we continue to explore George's story."
He added: "These are three brothers who were torn apart by tragedy and have a lot of complex emotions to come to terms with. When Kobina decides to leave, Kojo chooses to stay, which gives George the chance to be a big brother and also take on caring responsibilities."
