Strictly Come Dancing 2024 is officially underway with the latest series launching on the BBC on Saturday (September 14) night.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas are back again for the latest series, which marks the 20th anniversary of the show.
While Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman also returned as hosts of Strictly 2024.
Saturday's launch show kicked off with two group numbers performed by the Strictly professional dancers.
The second routine was led by Amy Dowden, with the dance marking her official return to the show having missed last year after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May (2023).
The routine left viewers sobbing thrilled that the fan favourite professional was back.
Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie also performed on the Strictly Come Dancing 2024 launch show on Saturday singing their song Cry Baby.
While viewers were also treated to a dance from 2023 Strictly winners Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola.
Strictly Come Dancing 2024 couples
The launch show introduced the 15 celebrities taking part in the new series of Strictly and revealed which professional dancers they would be paired with for the upcoming series.

- Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas
- Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe

- JB Gill and Amy Dowden
- Sam Quek and Nakita Kuzmin
- Dr Punam Krishan and Gorka Márquez
- Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola
- Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec
