Strictly Come Dancing is now into the fifth week of its 2024 series, but some fans had similar complaints just minutes into its newest episode.
The show opens with the judges being announced where they take a seat behind their desks, before the dancing couples are announced one by one and take to the ballroom together.
However, some took issue with a different choice of music to accompany the judges and the dancing pairs, as it is not the Strictly theme.
Additionally, some were annoyed about how hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman don't have a grand entrance.
A fair few posted to social media about their complaints with the alterations, which started at the beginning of the 2024 series.
Strictly fans make similar complaints about 'painful' into
Several Strictly fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to complain about they considered to be a subpar introduction to the show.
One person wrote: "Bring back the strictly music. This is painful".
Another posted: "No Tess and Claudia grand entrance. Judges two at a time. What is this country."
Meanwhile, another shared: "I wish the Judges would just walk out to the theme tune & sit down…or even better just already be sat behind the desk!"
One viewer broke down their issues with the into, saying: "The format changes with Claudia and Tess just standing there after the credits and the judges and contestants coming out to random songs instead of the theme were jarring at first and remain awful. Change it back immediately!"
Another shared their distaste, writing: "Dear #Strictly, Can we please go back to using the theme tune for the celeb intros. You’re ruining the vibe. Thank you."
