The festive season is upon us and with Christmas just around the corner, Coca-Cola is touring with its iconic Christmas truck with a stop scheduled in the north west.

This week, the Coca-Cola Christmas truck will arrive in Ashton-under-Lyne where visitors can see twinkling lights and listen to festive music.

An ice-cold Coca-Cola Zero Sugar will welcome them as they arrive at the truck and they will have the opportunity to take home exclusive Coca-Cola merchandise if they buy a qualifying drink or meal on the day.

Visitors are also encouraged to take a photo in front of the iconic red truck.

Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour aims to fight hunger and food waste with FareShare

Coca-Cola is encouraging people to bring friends and family together to enjoy a magical moment of festive fun as the tour will support FareShare this year, the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste.

Promising to be bigger and better than ever before and set in a magical winter wonderland setting, for every person that attends the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour, the equivalent of a meal will be donated on their behalf.

Coca-Cola aims to donate the equivalent of up to a total of 1 million meals via FareShare this festive season.

For every person who attends the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour between November 21 and December 22, 2024, 20p will be paid to FareShare, up to a value of £200,000.

FareShare works with the food industry to redistribute surplus food which might otherwise go to waste to a network of 8,000 charities and community groups across the UK.

These groups include community centres, faith groups, homelessness shelters, refuges and schools, all working hard to support people in need.

Food is used to bring people together, strengthening communities and helping people access vital support services. 

Where will the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck be visiting in the north west?

If you’re in the north west on Wednesday, December 4, you might catch a glimpse of the red truck or even better, be able to visit it.

The Coca-Cola Christmas truck will arrive in Ashton-under-Lyne on Wednesday and park up at Ash Tree Farm, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL7 0LY.
