A MAN who was caught with an £8,000 cannabis haul has been jailed.
Jonathon Thompson, 28 was found to be in possession of the drug during a police raid.
Thompson’s neighbours contacted police with concerns and officers went to Thompson’s flat in Castlemilk, Glasgow on 2 June 2020.

Prosecutor Claire Wallace told Glasgow Sheriff Court: “Thompson was not in the flat, but the police conducted a search of it and the communal garden area.”
Officers discovered a total of 1.5kg of cannabis with a value of £8,220.
Thompson was later arrested and made no reply when charged.
Thompson - who has convictions relating to knife and drug crimes - pleaded guilty to being in concerned in the supply of cannabis at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Paul Crozier told him: “The only reasonable sentence here is custodial.”
He was jailed for 22 months.
