A FIRE has broken out at a former derelict hospital in Paisley.
The blaze appears to have broken out on the town's Calside, near the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
The building was formerly home to the Royal Alexandra Infirmary before the hospital opened at its current site.
It has lain empty for a number of years.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that they are at the scene, where a derelict building has caught on fire.
There are six crews at the scene.
