A new clothes shop has opened its doors in the Glasgow Fort today.

Spanish retailer Mango has taken over the former Sports Direct unit at the Easterhouse shopping centre.

The brand, which was founded in Barcelona by brothers Isak Andic and Nahman Andic also has a shop in the Buchanan Galleries.

A spokesperson for the Glasgow Fort said this afternoon: "We are excited to welcome Mango to Glasgow Fort!"

Planning permission for the shop was originally submitted to Glasgow City Council in December last year seeking to display their sign at the unit on 370 Provan Walk.
