A GLASGOW man is encouraging his neighbours to use a community garden he created.
Richard Coid, 43 and his flatmate, James McGuinniess, 37, have been hosting the garden, located next to their Partick home, since the beginning of the pandemic.
Now that the weather allows, they are inviting anyone who walks by the Beith Street green space to enjoy it.

Richard Coid said: "I used to see old neighbours from when I was a child passing by, as they were going to Lidl and Morrison's and they would always ask if they could have a seat.
"Then, during the pandemic we put in some rose bushes and various potted plants, we bought chairs and a table and we put a wee fence around it.
"When the summer comes, sometimes there is no room on the bench and people are standing, chatting. That is why we bought the table and chairs.
"I would also like to thank Kathleen Walsh, our neighbour who supplied most of the potted plants and has given me eight years of her experience in gardening."
The land is owned by Glasgow City Council, who, according to Mr Coid, were supportive of the idea.
In the community, the sitting area is very popular, especially amongst shoppers.
He added: "I'm quite chuffed. A lot of people say 'you have put a lot of work in it, it's really nice', other people say it makes them smile as they are walking by with their dogs.
"It's just nice that people appreciate it and they can sit."
