GLASGOW shopping centre Buchanan Galleries has welcomed three new additions.
Gift shop Born in Scotland and food outlets Kim’s Korean Street Food and Koumi Sushi & Bento are now open for business in the city centre mall.
The new units come after the news that Buchanan Galleries is planned to be demolished and replaced with a multi-purpose shopping, residential and office quarter.
It is hoped that the new stores will offer shoppers a greater choice of shopping and eating.
Born in Scotland offers humorous gifts and supports local and independent artists, while the restaurants bring Korean and Japanese flavours to the food court.
Kathy Murdoch, Centre Manager at Buchanan Galleries, said: "We’re delighted to welcome these three new diverse brands to Buchanan Galleries, offering shoppers more choice when it comes to gifting and food.
“Born in Scotland is guaranteed to evoke fun memories for local shoppers, whilst enticing the curiosity of tourists with its eye-catching displays and humorous gifts.
"Kim’s Korean Street Food and Koumi Sushi & Bento offer a dining experience in our food court with new dishes to try from around the world.”
John Henderson at Born in Scotland said: "We are absolutely delighted to have opened our ninth store in the iconic Buchanan Galleries. So many of our designers and producers are based in Glasgow that it almost felt like a home-coming!
"The city represents so much of what we are about - humour, creativity, wit, energy, passion and irreverence - it's the perfect location for us."
