A busy Southside cafe has announced that its menu will become fully vegan as of next week.
The Glad Cafe on Pollokshaws road has welcomed a number of guest cooks into its kitchen over the years from the Hug and Pint to McCune Smith.
In recent months they have served a hugely popular pizza menu with toppings like fennel sausage or fresh mozzarella.

While the pizza looks set to stay (for now at least) the venue announced last night that going forward all of its offerings will be fully plant-based.
A member of the team said: "From next week The Glad Cafe will be 100% vegan
"Keep your eyes on our feed and stories this week for new menu updates.
"We'll also be running down some stock through the week in preparation for a few switches, starting with Staropramen - £4 a pint from tomorrow; also £10 pizza and drink deal every night!"
Having served a number of delicious vegan specials already this year it seems the switch will be no bother for the Southside spot's talented chefs.
We can't wait to find out what new veggie treats they have in store when the full menu is released.
