POPULAR seafood restaurant Crabshakk has revealed the opening date of its eagerly awaited second restaurant.
Owner John Macleod announced plans last year to open a sister location to the Finnieston eatery on Vincombe Street in the city's West End.
Now, in a post on Instagram, Crabshakk has confirmed the doors to the new Botanics location will open on Friday, April 22.
The post, which was accompanied by a photo of the team outside the new site, read: "IT’S OFFICIAL!
"We are absolutely over the moon to report that we will be cracking open the doors of Crabshakk Botanics’ on Friday 22nd April.
"Booking go LIVE on our website at 5pm tonight to book in for the first 2 weeks, more dates coming soon.
"All of this could not be possible without your continued love and support- so for that we thank you! Catch you reeeeely soon."

The original Crabshakk opened on Argyle Street in 2009 and has since become a staple of the Finnieston strip.
