Update: A man has been taken to hospital after falling onto the tracks.
Train services have been affected due to an ongoing incident between two stations.
Scotrail tweeted at around 7.15am that emergency services were dealing with an incident between Cumbernauld and Motherwell.
They advised travellers that services between the stations will be cancelled, delayed or revised.

A British Transport Police were contacted for comment.
