A MAN was taken to hospital following a robbery near Glasgow.
Police Scotland have confirmed that three men entered the house, attacked the two occupants and stole items before getting away.
Emergency services were called to Morar Drive in Linwood at around 6.45pm last night after reports of the incident.
A 42-year-old man was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment and a 37-year-old woman sustained minor injuries during the attack.
The three male suspects are described as having Scottish accents and were all wearing dark tracksuits.
An investigation was launched into the incident.

Detective Constable Donald MacIntyre, of Paisley CID, said: “I would ask anyone who knows anything about this incident or saw people acting suspiciously around the area to contact us.
“We are also keen for any local residents with private CCTV or possible dashcam footage to please come forward.
“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2727 of April 12. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
