A MAN was taken to hospital following a car crash in the city's North.
Emergency services were alerted after a silver Ford Fiesta was involved in a one-car-crash near the Allander Toll roundabout on Balmore Road today, just before 1am.
The driver, a 34-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The road was closed between Allander Toll and Kelvinbridge roundabout for around six hours to allow the investigation to be carried out.
Police Scotland are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Sergeant Adnan Alam from Glasgow Road policing unit said: "A man has sustained serious injuries as a result of this crash and we are appealing for information to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone in the area at the time with a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle to contact us."
