RESIDENTS of Garnethill gathered today to take part in a fun afternoon filled with gardening and food.
Organised by Garnethill Climate Group and Friends of Garnethill Green Spaces, Let’s Get Greening saw those taking part get involved with hedgerow planting, mulching, pruning and planting wildflowers.
The group, which met at Garnethill Park at 1pm, also enjoyed pizzas cooked in the park's bread oven and an Easter Egg hunt.
Members of the community were joined by Lord Provost Philip Braat, Deputy Lord Provost Christy Mearns, Cllr Angus Millar, MSP for Glasgow Kelvin Kaukab Stewart, and MP Alison Thewliss
Running since 2016, Friends of Garnethill Green Spaces aim to make the area as green as possible and develop, maintain and nurture the green areas in Garnethill.
