Singing sensation Lulu was spotted in her native Glasgow as she attended the launch of Douglas Stuart's new novel.
The Dennistoun-born singer took to social media to tell her fans that she was supporting the launch of Young Mungo and shared a selfie with an unexpected friend - First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
She wrote: "Two fans of Douglas Stuart at his book launch of Young Mungo in Glasgow last night."
The First Minister shared the photo and added that it was "lovely" meeting "the legend that is Lulu".

Fans loved the interaction, with one commenting: "Looking good ladies."
Another added: "Hope you enjoyed your visit to Glasgow."
One fan said: "'Young Mungo' is another incredible read by the very gifted Douglas Stuart."
The pair were supporting Glasgow author Douglas' new novel, which comes after the incredible success of Shuggie Bain.
The title refers to the city's patron saint, St Mungo, and tells the story of two working-class young men up in Glasgow in 1992, facing the divide between Catholics and Protestants.
