Cops raced to a busy shopping area of Glasgow city centre after reports of youths causing disorder.
The force confirmed that multiple calls had been made complaining of youths at St Enoch and Argyle Street.
They then made their way there on Saturday evening where they dealt with the youths and moved them away from the area.
It is not known how many people were in the area.
Two young people are being reported to the Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police responded to calls regarding youths causing disorder in the area of St Enoch and Argyle Street on Saturday evening.
"Officers attended and engaged with the youths and moved them on.
"Two juveniles are subject of a report to the Scottish Children’s Reporters Administration in connection with this incident.
“We are committed to supporting the local community and will continue to take appropriate action when incidents are reported and offenders identified.”
