THE Glasgow Times has teamed up with the promoters of I'm Still Standing - the ultimate celebration of Sir Elton John to give away three pairs of tickets to the show at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall this May.
Joel Buckingham and his band The Jets are coming to the city to give us a spectacular night with some of the best, most beloved, songs from the musical legend that is Sir Elton John.
I’m Still Standing will take audiences on a musical journey spanning 50 years of Sir Elton John’s career.
Songs you will hear will include Crocodile Rock, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Rocketman, Sacrifice, I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues, Candle In The Wind, Circle of Life, Daniel, and many, many more.
For over 10 years Joel Buckingham has authentically recreated the magical performance of Sir Elton. He is able to capture the mannerisms and high energy of the artist impeccably – with extravagant costume changes throughout the show to add to the authentic Elton feel. From the outrageous to the elegant and beyond, this is a night no fan of Elton John is going to want to miss.
