THE number of direct flights from Glasgow to Toronto is set to be doubled over the Summer.

Air Transat has announced that from this Sunday, the service will double from two to four times weekly until October. 

Fares will start from £371 return in Economy class to Toronto, and from there, passengers will also be able to connect to other destinations such as Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.

Passengers travelling from Glasgow will fly on Air Transat's modern all-Airbus fleet which has the lowest environmental impact in its class. 

Air Transat was awarded World's Best Leisure Airline of 2021 at the Skytrax World Airlines Awards.
