AN investigation is underway after a large number of fish were found dead in a loch in Glasgow.
Concerned locals spotted around 200 dead fish in Hogganfield Loch on Thursday, reports Glasgow Live.
It is understood the fish are roach and they are believed to have come from a culvert that comes into the loch from nearby Frankfield Loch.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) are now investigating the incident and Glasgow City Council says it will do what it can to support them.
A Glasgow City Council spokesperson said: "We are concerned about the circumstances that have led to a large number of fish being found dead in Hogganfield Loch.
"The environmental protection agency SEPA is investigating this incident and we will do what we can to support them."
