THE trial of a man accused of murdering his wife has been halted.
Peter Maher, 60, is charged with killing Jeanna Maher, 51, at their family home in Drumchapel, Glasgow on September 26 2018.
Evidence in the case began last week and was due to resume today.

But, for matters that cannot be reported for legal reasons, no further witnesses were called.
The trial at the High Court in Glasgow is now scheduled to begin with a new jury in January next year.

A further preliminary hearing will take place before then later this year.
Maher denies the allegations.
