A GLASGOW Michelin-starred chef has been nominated for a prestigious award.
Lorna McNee, head chef at Cail Bruich, is in the running for the Chef Award at the Cateys.
The award, created by hospitality media brand The Caterer, recognises talented chefs "who have made an outstanding contribution to the industry", and make a contribution to innovation in cooking and new styles of cuisine.
She is nominated alongside Lisa Goodwin-Allen of Northcote and Mark Birchall of Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms, both in Lancashire, and Matt Abé of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.

After Cail Bruich was awarded a Michelin star in 2021, Lorna became the first and only female solo chef in Glasgow to have the honour.
Meaning 'eat well', Cail Bruich is famed for its five-to-seven course tasting menus using the best local Scottish or British produce.
Michelin recommends that guests book the kitchen counter and enjoy the Chef's Tasting Menu to see Lorna's skills in action.
Finnieston eatery Unalome by Graeme Cheevers earned a star in February, being the second restaurant in the city to have one.
The Cateys will be held in London on July 5, 2022.
