A SUSPECT has appeared in court today accused of murdering a man.
Dean Ferguson, 29, allegedly assaulted BillyJoe Bates in Glasgow's Parkhouse on November 18, 2018.
Court papers state Ferguson repeatedly struck Mr Bates on the body with a knife or similar instrument.

The alleged assault is said to have been to Mr Bates' severe injury, danger of life and murder.
Ferguson made no plea at a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody by sheriff Johanna Johnston QC.
Ferguson, of Parkhouse, will appear at court again within the next eight days.
