A MAN is accused of assaulting Hearts player Barrie McKay during a match against Celtic.
Zack Griffiths, 24, allegedly threw a cup at the winger at Parkhead on December 2, 2021.
Griffiths faces an alternative charge of behaving in a threatening or an abusive manner at the same time and place.

Court papers state Griffiths threw a cup onto the field of play in close proximity to a football player.
Celtic won the match 1-0 with Kyogo Furuhashi netting in the first half.
Griffiths, of Aberdeen, has made no plea at Glasgow Sheriff Court to either charge.
A hearing today was continued without plea until later this month.
