A POPULAR Indian restaurant in Glasgow has taken home the prize for being the best in Scotland.
Swadish, located in the Merchant City, earned Best Indian Restaurant at the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards.
The team, with owner and manager Ajay Kumar at the helm, took to social media to express their delight at the achievement and thank their customers for their support.
They wrote: "We are officially THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN SCOTLAND
"We are absolutely thrilled to have WON the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality award.
"We THANK you all who supported us to win this prestigious accolade last night. We couldn't do this without your LOVE and support.
"Love you all AMAZING people."
The team at Swadish were congratulated by their regulars, with one commenting: "This is so well deserved. Your food is just amazing. Enjoy the celebration!"
Another said: "Couldn't go to a more dedicated and professional team...anyone to beat you...would have to be extraordinary."

It was a successful night for hospitality venues in and around Glasgow, with the Curry Lounge in Hamilton and Charcoals in the Trongate both coming highly recommended in the same category.
Best Sport's Bar went to McGoldrick's Pool and Sports Bar in Rutherglen, while Paisley eatery The Clippens Inn took home Best Pub.
Glasgow club The Record Factory won Best Late Night Venue.
