Man in court charged with the murder of Amanda McAlear in Glasgow's Barmulloch
A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman.
John Higgins, 62, is accused of killing 50 year-old Amanda McAlear.
The mum was found injured at a flat in Glasgow’s Barmulloch on May 8.

Higgins made no plea during a private appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to return to the dock next week.
