A SECTION of the M8 motorway was closed this morning due to a police incident.
UPDATE: Man suddenly dies as M8 Junction 27 near Glasgow is closed
According to Traffic Scotland the motorway was closed westbound at Junction 27 from 6am as the incident remained ongoing.
The entry slip road at Junction 27 westbound was also closed during that time.
They issued an update at 6.30am that the area had reopened but traffic was still tailing.
