CELTIC fans were delighted when their team was featured in the latest episode of Derry Girls.
The penultimate episode, shown on Tuesday evening, followed the gang as they tried to get their hands on tickets to see Fatboy Slim live on Halloween.
But the very first scene included a mention of the club.
When a radio competition question asks what the traditional Celtic name for Halloween is, Orla McCool's mum Sarah says that they should ask their friend, as her son is "in the Ancient Celtics".
Her sister Mary, Erin's mum, responds with: "He PLAYS for Celtic!"
Fans watching reacted to the mention on Twitter, with one saying: "Celtic getting a mention 30 seconds into the last ever Derry Girls is a JOY."
Another said: "Celtic getting a mention in Derry Girls earlier HH."
One commented: "Celtic got a mention in Derry Girls" and added a green heart emoji.
Viewers were also shocked by a surprisingly emotional ending to the episode.
One tweeted: "Sad episode of Derry Girls but bonus points for the mention of the woman whose son played for Celtic!"
Fans of the Lisa McGee programme set in 1990s Northern Ireland will have to wait until tonight to see how the show wraps after three seasons.
An hour-long finale will be shown on Channel 4 at 9pm.
