POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit by a bin lorry in Cumbernauld.
We previously reported that a 58-year-old man was left with serious injuries after he was hit by a bit lorry on Main Road in Condorrat at around 12.10pm yesterday.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Road Policing Officers from Motherwell are now appealing for anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 1432 of Friday, May 20.
The Health and Safety Executive has been made aware an investigation is underway to establish what happened.
