A householder in Paisley has been left 'frightened' after a 'crossbow' was fired at their property this weekend.
At around 9:10 pm on Saturday, a spiked object was found lodged in the window of the Arkleston Drive home in the Gallowhill area.
Police now say that they are 'eager' to gather any information the public might have regarding the incident.
Sergeant Jason Cooper said: “Fortunately no one was injured but the householder was left frightened by what happened and we are eager to trace whoever was responsible.
“If anyone saw anything suspicious around the time of this incident or has information that could help with our ongoing enquiries then please get in touch.
“You can contact officers via 101, quoting incident number 3578 of Saturday, May 21, 2022, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
