POLICE are appealing for the public's help to locate a man who disappeared from Barrhead.
Andrew Irvine, 48, was last seen at home, on the town's Main Street around 8.10am this morning.
He is described as being 5ft 10, of slim build, with short grey or white hair and a beard. When last seen he was wearing a black jacket and blues jeans, carrying a black rucksack with grey stripes.
An investigation was launched into the disappearance and anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland.

Sergeant Fiona McGuffie of Giffnock Police Station, said: “This is very out of character for Andrew and there are significant concerns for his wellbeing.
“We are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts, or who believes they may have seen him, to contact us as soon as possible.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 1531 of Friday, 27 May, 2022.”
